Age Groups Introduction

The JSC Cricket Academy affiliated under Saudi cricket federation follows a structured selection process for boys and girls, ensuring a progressive approach based on age and skill development. Here’s an overview:

• Focus: Introduction to basic cricket skills like batting, bowling, and fielding.
• Objective: Teach fundamental motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and understanding the basic rules of the game.
• Process: Light training sessions that emphasize fun, teamwork, and enthusiasm for the sport.
• Assessment: Based on enthusiasm, learning pace, and basic skill development. All kids are encouraged to join for development.

• Focus: Enhancing technical skills with a deeper understanding of cricket strategy.
• Objective: Develop more specific skills in batting, bowling, and fielding, including the introduction of match situations.
• Process: Regular training sessions with drills focusing on technique, team play, and game rules.
• Assessment: Selection based on progress, skill execution, and game awareness. Friendly matches and practice sessions will be observed for further skill growth.
• Focus: Advanced technical training, strategy, and fitness.
• Objective: Prepare players for competitive cricket, refining their roles (batsman, bowler, all-rounder, wicket-keeper), and understanding game tactics.
• Process: Intense training sessions, match simulations, and exposure to competitive games.
• Assessment: Selection based on overall performance, commitment, fitness, and teamwork. Participation in regional tournaments and games becomes a key part of development.

JSC Professional Group

  • Focus: Elite-level training aimed at grooming professional players.
  • Objective: Train players for national and international competitions, focusing on fine-tuning all aspects of their game including mental strength and high-level strategy.
  • Process: Rigorous and specialized training led by professional coaches, exposure to high-level matches, and one-on-one mentoring.
  • Assessment: Performance at top-tier competitive levels and readiness to represent in professional leagues or national teams.

Each age group has a pathway toward progressing through the JSC Cricket Academy, allowing players to grow from fundamentals to elite cricketing levels.

  • Saturday 7-9 pm
  • Monday 7-9 pm
  • Wednesday 7-9 pm
  • Age : 5-13 boys & Girls 5-10 years
  • Maximum number of slots 15 only in each batch
  • One to One support for all participants
